Aluminium Tread Plate
Aluminium tread plate is also commonly referred to as either checker plate, durbar or check plate and gets its name from the distinctive 5 raised bars that give it non slip properties.
Five bar treadplate is an extremely versatile product because of its many features. The pattern makes it ideal for applications that require a slip resistant surface and because it is aluminium, it is corrosion resistant, lightweight and easy to fabricate.
Application and uses
Aluminium tread plate is used as flooring on both commercial vehicles and trailers and is also used as wall and door protection because of its light weight and durability. It is also used in many industrial settings such as stairways and walkways.
Our sheet is manufactured using aluminium grade 5754 which has a high strength making it ideal for flooring as well as having excellent corrosion resistant properties.

Aluminium Checker Plate
