Hundreds of business across the UK have received a letter from the Rt Hon Alok Sharma which outlines that manufacturing is a critical part of the UK economy and there are no restrictions on manufacturing in the current rules.
We, like many others, have listened to this advice and have stayed open.
Manufacturing across the UK has seen changes within recent years, but this is nothing compared to recent weeks. We have seen so many of our dedicated customers do a complete U-turn on their production. Customers who were producing bikes, customers who were making diggers are now machining our materials into ventilator housings.
We are just thankful that we can be a small part of this massive machine that the UK manufacturing sector is.
