Fabrications
From concept design to completion: we offer unmatched manufacturing expertise
Extensive experience in machining and fabrication, combined with our state-of-the-art production equipment, enables us to manufacture unique product features to complete all of your projects. We specialise in construction and architecture, electric vehicles and the general engineering industry.
To complement thyssenkrupp’s extensive range of aluminium and stainless steel products, we also offer a broad range of processing and fabrication services. Aluminium is a very lightweight and versatile product. It is fully sustainable and 100% recyclable and it can be extruded into almost any shape. We source our extrusions only from approved mills in the UK, Europe and worldwide depending on factors such as lead times and price. From turning your drawing into a custom profile, we can purchase large quantities to secure the best price and from one of our many warehouses located around the UK, deliver smaller quantities just in time.
In addition to a first class stock holding service, we also opened a brand new fabrication centre of excellence, based in the Midlands that can offer:
Cut to size
Welding and fabrication
Punching and drilling
Finishing
Machining
Bespoke packaging
Combined with our ability to manufacture in lengths up to 7.3m long, this makes thyssenkrupp Materials UK one of the most versatile fabricators in the market.

Benefits of Fabrication
Fabrication is an important process that creates materials that are best suited for final applications. We offer a wide range of fabrication processes including machining. Some of the benefits of metal fabrication include:
Cost-efficiency
Fabrication is cost-effective. It saves time and money by delivering materials that are ready for the application in question. Fabrication makes it easier to complete complex structures quickly reducing labour costs.
Durability
The strength of metal makes it ideal for creating durable structures. Some metals also have excellent corrosion resistance. Fabrication allows you to use such materials to complete projects without compromising their unique properties.
Quality is in everything we do
thyssenkrupp Materials UK is dedicated to providing our customers with a product that meets their expectations. We operate an effective, efficient quality management system meeting the requirements of ISO 9001 and we currently hold ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 industry standards. thyssenkrupp only uses the highest quality material, sourced from approved manufacturers and selected, approved suppliers.
Full material and product traceability is maintained at all times through our digital quality management system - iAuditor.
We are committed to a culture of continuous improvement. We monitor and measure all processes and openly advise our customers on best practices, which we believe encourages a culture of trust, teamwork and accountability.
All material dispatches are accompanied by a certificate of conformity, which is validated by our trained quality staff against the material specification and manufacturing tolerances.
We can cut a wide range of materials and shapes, with different machines, to precise specification and with a fast turnaround.
